Dalet is seeking an experienced self-directed Cloud Operations Manager that has strong operational, organizational, collaboration, and strategic/analytical experience with the cloud computing life-cycle to perform a key role in delivering first class services. What You’ll Do?

In this position, you will be responsible for the ongoing management of cloud operations to process, plan, prioritize, assign external and internal requests, so as to deploy and maintain production environments, as per the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Operational Level Agreements (OLA’s).
To achieve these goals, you will:
Lead a team responsible for building, enhancing and maintaining highly reliable and scalable cloud platforms.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define business and systems requirements.
Anticipate on emerging products, services and operating methodologies in order to establish and maintain a relevant IT roadmap which aligns with customer business goals and objectives.
Track infrastructure costs and identify financial improvements and efficiencies for planning and budgeting purposes.
Leverage Agile methodologies, such as Kanban, to provide monitoring and support of the customer’s cloud environment including product upgrades, rollouts and security patches.
Create and maintain Operations checklists, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guidelines and other documentation as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and experience:


At least 5 years of management experience in cloud operations and/or data center operations
B. S. or M. S. in Computer Science or related field.
Proven experience in multi-cloud platforms, technologies and concepts – virtualization, networking, storage, security
Experience with Application Management Services; Automation and DevSecOps; Cyber Security Operations; Risk/Compliance, and Optimization/Transparency
Demonstrated experience successfully leading in a 24/7/365 production environment
Willingness to proactively engage in continuous process improvement.
Applicants should be expert critical thinkers and problem-solvers
Exposure to system management monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus)
Extensive experience and knowledge of Linux
Infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Docker is a big plus
Solid and modern source control practices
Experience with AWS and ITIL Framework (certification is a plus)

Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to explain highly technical terms to those who may not have an in-depth understanding of the subject
Good analytical skills for troubleshooting application, network and database problems.
