Roles and responsibilities

  • Understanding business requirements and and develop test strategies that cover functional and non-functional requirements
  • Continuously assessing risk throughout the delivery process, and communicate with stakeholders in product, projects and R&D
  • Engaging with support and operations teams to facilitate the resolution of incidents or critical bugs.
  • Maintaining up to date practices to drive efficiency in software testing with an emphasis on test automation and CI/CD.
  • Supervising SDETs and organizing team resources to support timely product releases which are fully tested and verified.
  • Producing reports and maintaining KPIs tracking software quality over time.
  • Setting both group and individual goals and performing annual staff reviews.
  • Organizing recruitment and managing onboarding of new SDETs.

Key Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading and managing high-performing software testing teams.
  • Experience working on cloud native microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of software automation systems such as Karate, Cypress, Cucumber, K6
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, ideally running in Jenkins.
  • Knowledge of Java, Groovy, and/or NodeJS is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, excellent command of the English language (written, verbal).
